Why does art even exist?

Because it provides benefits that society values . . .

Communication . . . conveying ideas and messages . . . challenging and disrupting accepted norms and precepts . . . connecting in ways that traditional verbal and written modes can’t even hope to accomplish

Education . . . teaching shared values, morals, openness, and understanding

Emotion . . . expresses a natural instinctive or intuitive state of mind, i.e., one’s feelings . . . at a deeper level and in a more heart-felt fashion

Exposure . . . lancing a social disharmony, i.e., opening up and exposing it to the “sunlight” . . . allowing the discord to “drain” and begin the desired healing process

Socialization . . . identifies, explores, and drives society’s concerns . . . and their favorable evolution, reducing social dissonance

Style . . . an aesthetic . . . delivering reflection, joy, hope, and social engagement

Therapy . . . nurturing peoples’ mental and emotional health . . . in ways and to extents that everyday communication can’t accomplish or even attempt

This website’s images deal with . . .

Individuals who gender-identify as men . . . and struggle with, express, or explore . . . their queer, gay, or feminine sides

All characters depicted herein are at least 18 years old !!

I hope you’re open to having your existing perspectives evolve . . . so as to better reflect society’s rapidly growing acceptance of . . . and comfort with all-things queer
